What is truth? What is untruth? It is not in the words that you speak. It is in the way that you hold the life within you, it is in the way you are. Whether you are a crawling worm or a big human being, when sun comes up in the morning it lights up everybody. Whoever opens his eyes, for him there is light to see. So the essential nature of life, is all inclusive, this is the truth. If you sit here, like that, absolutely all inclusive, you are in touch with truth. If you are in touch with truth there can be no suffering in you, it is as simple as that.
There is no difference between life and the source of life. Life is the source of life. There is no place in the universe where creation and the Creator exist separately. A separation between life and God only happens in the human mind.
Your mind and your body are a product of the world and its people. Your original nature is not in your experience because it is on the other side of the mind. In a way, your mind is like a mirror. It may be a distorted one, but still a mirror. You see the world because it is reflected in your mind. But the mind never reflects the self. I am not talking about your physical or psychological self. You can contemplate your thoughts and emotions, but you cannot contemplate the self. Your existence cannot be contemplated – it can only be experienced. The mind is reflecting the world around you, but there is no experience of you as a life. But the most important thing in this existence right now for you is you are here.
You crank up your energy to such a pitch that your mind says something, your emotions say something else, but your energies are so cranked up it doesn’t matter. Your mind can be wrong, you know that. It has been wrong any number of times and it continues to be wrong, but your life energies cannot be wrong. Your life energies do not know any right and wrong. They know only life and life alone – whether it is low pitch or high pitch is the only question.
Intuition once in a way is a very dangerous thing because you won’t know how to decide whether it is a hundred percent yes or no; so great turmoil will happen within you. Your logical mind says one thing; you think your intuition is saying something else. It must be one hundred percent clear; otherwise intuition is more of a nuisance. It is better to drop it and just rely on the logical process. Even if it takes longer, at least you get somewhere. This intuition may just land you in all kinds of situations because you believe things. There are lots of people like this, who are constantly making wrong decisions about everything in their life because they think they have intuition. If there is even a one percent doubt, it is better to use the logical mind, however limited it is, because it is more reliable. You can cross-check it. Intuition cannot be cross-checked.
When you transcend your likes and dislikes, unknowingly, you become conscious. Unknowingly, you turn spiritual, which is the best way to turn spiritual. Not by saying, “I am going to take a spiritual path” but because as a life, you became conscious enough to transcend your limitations, likes and dislikes and you turned spiritual, without attaching the word “spiritual” to it.
If people around you do not agree with you, you are in a very good place. Choose someone that you cannot stand and learn to work with them, joyfully. It will do wonders to you. If you choose to be with someone you like, you will become compulsive to be only with those sorts of people. Family is not the problem. Your wanting to be with what you like is the problem. Don’t choose what you like. See how to make what is there wonderful. What comes to you is not your business. What you make out of it is your business.
The psychological process is your creation. The existential is not your making. It is the Creator’s creation. There is no problem in enjoying the psychological. But if you get lost in the psychological, then you will completely miss the existential.
Your psychological process has nothing to do with the existential. But you can use the psychological as a stepping stone, either to go into lunacy, or into freedom. You can use it to become absolutely compulsive, or to become conscious. It is a device and it is your making.
If your psychological process was created in a conscious manner, you would not create anything other than blissfulness for yourself. And only when you are blissful by your own nature – that is, you are no more an issue of any kind – you can deal with the issue of the existence. Only when your mind is free of fluctuation will it be capable of reflecting the reality the way it is.
