When you are truly meditative, there is no time and space for you. Time and space are consequences of the mind.
If you are concerned about the world, the first thing you need to do is transform yourself into a joyful being.
A situation becomes stressful only when you compulsively react to it.
The mind is there to perceive, not to cook up nonsense. It has to be like a mirror, showing you everything the way it is.
Devotion is a place where you do not exist; life just flows through you as a certain sweetness and beauty.
Mysticism is like science. Mysticism is essentially a way to know the existence, your own nature, and the relationship between what you call “myself” and what you call the cosmos. Mysticism is a way to know and realize that “There is no such thing as me and the cosmos, there is just me or there is just cosmic reverberation.” To know this, not as a knowledge, deduction, or philosophy, but as a living reality – this is mysticism.
Occult is just technology. Today, you can pick up your cellphone in India and talk to someone in the United States. Occult is just like this – you can talk to someone in the United States without the cellphone. It is a slightly more advanced technology. This will happen with modern technology after some time as it evolves.
If you have to use an analogy – occult is like technology, mysticism is science. The essence of science is to know what the nature of this existence is. But for most people today their understanding of science is technology.
Occult has been treated as a dirty thing that you shouldn’t touch. It is not always a dirty thing, but unfortunately, largely it has been used that way.
Occult is the lowest expression of yoga, but that is the first thing people would like to do.
